Hope has a name: Jesus. As we help support the Archbishop’s various charities through the ABCD campaign, with the goal of raising $289,000, let us see how this makes us One in Faith.
The Archbishop’s Charity and Development Drive supports priestly formation, evangelization and ministry, and charitable works. By being One in Faith, 32% of our contribution, $92,000, goes to the formation of seminarians, our future priests, and to the continuing formation of our clergy, religious and laity. It supports the activity of our seminaries, St. John Vianney College Seminary and St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary as well as the Redemptoris Mater Seminary. There are currently 58 seminarians in formation. It also supports the Diaconate Program for the formation of future permanent deacons, among them our parishioner Dr. Frank Álvarez-Gil, so that they may serve our community in the future.
Your contribution of $1 a day, or $365 per year, to the ABCD means that each month you’d be contributing approximately $12 to the formation of our future priests and deacons.
The Lord is generous with his gifts. Let us be One in Faith by sharing them with others.
