NICOLÁS DÍAZ, a native of Havana, Cuba, who was baptized at the parish of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad inHavana, came to the States at 3 months of age. He has lived in Miami all his life, attending Christopher Columbus High School and later the University of Miami.
Nick and his wife, Juanita, were married at San Luis Rey Church, Cat Cay, Bahamas, 18 years ago. They have two children, Inés Cristina and Andrea Margarita. Nick is a tree farmer who grows and sells palms and ornamental large trees.
Archbishop Wenski ordained Nick to the permanent diaconate on December 16, 2023.
