What a promise! Humankind has always sought ways to prolong life, to live forever. We need to look no further than the great advances of science and medicine in the last hundred years to see that we continue to search for cures to many diseases in order to prolong life. And this is good; life is a gift from God, and we must work to nurture and preserve it.
