With the entrance of the Lord in Jerusalem we start the holiest week of the year. This Sunday has two names; Triumph Sunday and Passion Sunday, and it marks each of us with those two ingredients that are present each day of our Christian life. In the same manner, Jesus enters into our lives as victorious and triumphant king, but also as the suffering servant. Such He will become, when all those who hailed Him will later ask for his death.
Pope Francis says that “Creation urgently needs the revelation of the children of God.” Let us dare to appear as we are, beloved children, so that purified by love, we may carry on throughout life this divine filiation both in triumph and in pain, and that we may accompany with our time, our talent and our money those who still don’t know that Jesus wants to come into their hearts to transform their lives completely.
